never saw the actual episode but I found this hilarious

The holidays are only a few weeks to go so whip out the Bing Crosby albums and let’s start out early.

Veterans touch our lives everyday, most likely you are related to or a close friends of a veteran. These people have put their lives on the line for their country. Giving up their comfortable homes, their families, and even their lives to promote democracy and independence to all people. Who for 233 years, stood up in defense of this great nation, so that we can have a free, and safe life. One of these heroes is my great-grandpa William Samson or Sam Grotewold. He was a Cavalryman for the United States Army. During World War One he joined at the age of 17 and was sent to France on the Western Front from 1917 to 1918. During this time he would lose a lung to a poisons gas attack. But he would be there on the day of cease fire, the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month. November 11, 1918 at 11:00 am. A year later Congress would call the day Armistice Day. Which later would become what we know today as, Veterans Day. A day set aside were we as an Americans can reflect and give thanks to the men and women who have fought, or even paid the ultimate price for our country. It is also a day that we can remember and pray for the brave service men and women that are fighting over seas right now. Veterans are true heroes that lay their lives on the line, so that we can live in a world where our government gives the power to us, the people. And personally I thank you all for doing that, for come January, I will begin working down in Des Moines as a page in the Iowa House of Representatives. Thank you veteran for giving me the freedom to make my dream possible.

LOOKS GOOD, EH? I BOUGHT 2 CASES AND CANT WAIT!

On Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 2:15 p.m. I boarded a plane to fly 9,500 ft. in the air and then jump out of that plane with a man on my back. As you hopefully can tell, I survived the ordeal and got video to prove it. It will be up in a few short weeks. Happy Birthday to Kelsey! who turned 25 today and is the reason for the attempt at flying.

I plan to have pictures of my skydiving experience up soon.
